These are my 10 thumbnails for my car poster. The one that I choose first, with the help of Rebecca is the bottom left picture with the golden Z, the car in front and the headline that says "show yours off". This will be an ad for a car show. Then I decided I also liked the one top right thumbnail that is basically the same but it says "LIKE NO OTHER" and it is an ad for the car its self. So I have decided that for my half size marker comp that I am going to combine the two and use the Z with the car in front and then use the headline LIKE NO OTHERS and also add another line of text explaining to the viewer what the car is, a 280z.
I found these thumbnails much harder than the chili poster ones. I think it is because we had so much creative freedom my mind was freaking out and couldn't concentrate on making thumbnails. We were allowed to come up with the idea for the post and what it would be advertising, we could use a bleed, and on top of that we were allowed to have a bleed. I think I could come up with some more, or even better ideas if I had more time to let my mind relax and think about what I could do with all the creative freedom.
